Pipework

Bells MES provides an extensive, high quality pipework service, which includes design, fabrication and installation.

We have a dedicated workforce of specialist pipe fitters who are fully trained and coded to BSEN in various materials, thicknesses and diameters.

Life-safety generator fuel systems

The Bells MES team is highly experienced in the installation of life-safety generator fuel systems. Also referred to as emergency standby generators, these systems are responsible for the uninterrupted operation of fire alarms, fire pumps, emergency lighting and elevators.

Life-safety standards are also necessary in situations such as hospital operating theatres or wherever a high level of performance from the building services would be essential in an emergency.

Coded welding

Bells MES offers a comprehensive coded welding service. Our engineers have codings to BS EN standards and are regularly re-tested to ensure the highest possible quality of workmanship.

Our experienced engineers can undertake commercial and industrial projects, either on-site or at our workshop. This covers a wide range of materials, thicknesses diameters and specifications, from complex steel fabrication to mission-critical pipeline repair.

Coded Welding services include:

  • Class 1, Coded to BS EN 287-1 2011
  • MIG Welding (Metal Inert Gas)
  • TIG Welding (Tungsten Inert Gas)

Specialist pipework and leak detection systems

Bells MES has many years’ experience in the specification and installation of specialist, non-weld pipework and leak detection systems.

SECON-X® is a flexible, secondary contained pipe-in-pipe system with optional leak detection. It is ideal for suction, pressure and fill pipes when dealing with hazardous, flammable and toxic liquids and gases.

FLEXWELL® FSR is a flexible, stainless steel double-walled, safety pipe-in-pipe system with permanent leak monitoring. It is ideal for the transportation of environmentally hazardous, flammable and toxic fuels, liquids and gases.

Bespoke tank fabrication

Bells MES has the expertise to fabricate a wide variety of tanks, silos and hoppers including:

  • Second generation fuel tanks
  • Stainless steel storage tanks
  • Double-skinned tanks
  • Treatment tanks

We are able to construct bespoke tanks off-site ready for delivery. Alternatively, we can construct containers on-site using pre-fabricated modular systems. Tanks can be supplied in stainless or carbon steel, Hastelloy and duplex alloys; and all conform to British standards.
